Some ideas for my FUTURE home

Josh and I will be moving soon. We are looking to move into a little whole in the wall. I don't think we'll be able to decorate it like I want it considering it is a considerable downsize. That's ok though because we are gonna be saving up a little this summer. The apartment we are in right now we have to get out of, the roof in my second roof started leaking and for the last month the Landlord still hasn't fixed it. I am really upset. So we are gonna move. We are staying up here in Logan. I like logan besides the fact that it SNOWED this morning. I was shocked. I seriously thought it was spring :(

So here are some images that I LOVE for my new home...one day

I am loving all of the BLUES, GREYS, and even the yellow. Never thought I would like that but it keeps coming up :)

Plus I can't get enough of the Chevron style!

DIY Fabric Chandelier

I LOVE THIS! I wanna try this for the store and maybe use the colors from Violet Hill.

I seem to spend a lot of my time either at Joanns. I have had a lot of fun making and selling headbands at the store. They are pretty easy to make, and they are fun to pass the time. Whenever I get downtime.

Things have felt chaotic lately. But that's what I get for juggling my marriage, school up at USU, and Violet Hill Boutique.

It seems like a lot, but the more I think about it...I have always handled my life with constant chaos. High School felt like this with all the sports, clubs, classes, and friends. BUT there is a big difference between then and now. I have Josh. I am not going to lie, I have the most supportive husband in the world. He has encouraged me to go for my dreams. Don't be fooled...Violet Hill Boutique was never my dream...I never thought in a million years I would open a retail store in Logan, UT. But it has always been my dream to be successful, to have a great job, and a loving husband.

Maybe my chaos is just my form of simplicity.

If you wanna know more about Violet Hill just go to the facebook page. You can check out the store of how it got started and see what it's all about :)

UP-grade your sweater DIY

I found this fabulous DIY project. I don't know how to sew, and I don't have a sweing machine. BUT I am going to try this one out. I really think it spices up an old sweater and ruffles are so in right now.

I don't know when I am gonna complete this project but it's on the board for...ONE DAY I am gonna do this.

Here is another Sweater DIY , and another
Come with me on a journey as I take on the daunting task of simplifying. It seems like lately I have become obsessed with simplifiying everything in my life: time, work, money, my thoughts. I realize that I may never truly reach a state of simplicity but I think this blog will be a great place to reach that goal. Here on this blog is where I will put anything and everything that may be bouncing around in my head: great ideas, crafts, diy projects, my dreams, things that inspire me.
